NEIL Harris doesn’t expect Millwall to be in the market for a centre-back this week despite doubts over how long Shaun Hutchinson will be out with a knee injury.
Hutchinson missed Sunday’s 1-0 loss at Rotherham and Harris said afterwards the Lions vice-captain would be out for the “foreseeable future”.
The transfer window shuts this Friday.
Murray Wallace (above) started his first league game since joining from Scunthorpe in the summer, partnering Jake Cooper in the centre of defence.
Byron Webster was on the bench and will play against Plymouth in the second round of the EFL Cup at The Den on Wednesday.
“I’m really pleased with Jake, Murray and Byron,” Harris said. “We need more results on Hutch but very, very, very unlikely we’ll be in for another centre-half.”
