NEIL Harris has confirmed that Shaun Hutchinson is part of his plans next season – but the Millwall boss has ruled out a move for Ben Marshall.
Hutchinson has struggled with illness this year and lost his place in the side to Alex Pearce.
Marshall was left out of Millwall’s last two games of the season and goes back to Norwich where he has another three years to run on his deal.
Harris was asked for clarification on the pair after Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Wigan.
“No they’re not injured. Ben Marshall won’t be here next season,” Harris said.
“Shaun Hutchinson has had a difficult few months. He’s been quite poorly. We hope he’s improving all the time.
“He’s a player I want to be here next year. He’s been my vice-captain this year. His performances have dipped during the course of the season
“But he’s a wonderful fella and he’s got great potential and quality as a centre-half.
“I hope he gets better all the time and that he’s with us pre-season.”
