A man said to be in his thirties has been stabbed outside Peckham Police Station this afternoon.
The Met has confirmed it received a report of the stabbing in Peckham High Street at 4:35pm.
The victim was “conscious and breathing” when he was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital.
A crime scene is in place outside Peckham Food and Wine, on the corner of Clayton Road.
A spokesman for the Met said no arrests had been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
Adam Mizou of Station Barbers walked past the scene after the incident happened. He told the News: “There was a lot of police and I could see a lot of blood.
“There was a blue tent and they had cordoned off an area outside the corner shop.
“Not a lot of people were around, but I could see about five or six officers there.”
