The UK Home Office constantly creates new mediums of practices to alter current immigration routes or create new categories to provide an updated outline on prospective routes an individual or family can consider.
Since the United Kingdom left the European Union (Brexit) from the 31st of December 2020, there has been a significant surge in applications made under standard immigration rules. It is accepted that since 2020 – till now we had seen many challenges individuals and families had faced to transition on to the correct routes.
At ICS Legal, our Immigration Lawyers have both worked with individuals as well as organisations over this period of time, on matters under the EU Settlement Scheme as well as immigration programs to ensure the best possible chance of being successful. In certain instances our office had to challenge even through the First Tier Tribunal on decisions we felt had been made unfairly, based on the circumstances.
With this in mind, we want to talk about getting the right information (UK Immigration Advice) based on the changes made by UK Visas and Immigration (Home Office).

- Certain nationals including EU Nationals are able to visit the UK for up to 6 months.
- Border Staff will review your circumstances at the point of arriving to the UK before allowing entry.
- Non-Visa Nationals will need to apply for leave to enter the UK.

- Note this covers the Health and Care Work Visa too, again this is a sponsored route.

- All these categories require an endorsement.

- This can cover from a Marriage Visitor, Fiancé Visa, Unmarried partners, Married partners (Spouse Visas) and Parent routes.
- Note there are Dependent routes for Children or Parents to consider.
- With these routes there are financial requirements, as well as language requirements that need to be met.
With all categories you can consider applying for Settlement (Indefinite leave to remain), where eligibility runs between 5 – 10 Years.
