A second man has been charged in connection with the shooting on Black Lives Matter activist Sasha Johnson in Peckham.
Eighteen-year-old Devonte Brown, from Southwark (b. 20.12.02) was charged with conspiracy to murder on Friday evening (June 11).
He was due to appear in custody today (Saturday, June 12) at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
His arrest follows that of five other men on Wednesday, May 26, four of whom were released on bail until late June.
The fifth male, eighteen-year-old Cameron Deriggs, from Bromley Hill in Lewisham, was charged with conspiracy to murder.
He will appear at the Old Bailey on June 25.
Sasha, a 27-year-old mother, was shot in Consort Road in the early hours of Sunday, May 23. Her condition remains critical.
