Police are appealing for witnesses after an ‘altercation’ at a set of traffic lights in Jamaica Road.
Officers say they are keen to ‘ensure the welfare’ of those involved in the incident, which involved the occupants of a van and a car at around 8.15pm on Saturday night (June 12).
Both vehicles – a black hatchback and white van – were waiting at the lights at the junction with St James ‘s Road when the reported incident took place.
Two people got out the black car, approached the van driver, and an altercation ensued.
Both vehicles then drove away in the direction of Rotherhithe Tunnel.
