A passenger was taken to hospital after a bus collided with a van in Rotherhithe this afternoon (Tuesday April 20).
The collision took place at about 12.15 on Capstan Way. Roads in the area, including Salter Road, were blocked off while emergency services dealt with the situation.
Ambulance crews and police came to the scene and several bus passengers were treated by paramedics.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 12:16hrs on Tuesday, 20 April to reports of a collision involving a bus and a van on Capstan Way, SE16.
“Officers attended. Several bus passengers were treated at the scene; one has been taken to a south London hospital with a minor injury.
“Local roads were closed whilst emergency services were at the scene.”
