Police investigating an alleged sexual assault on a South London bus have asked the public to help identify a man.
Detectives say a woman was harassed and grabbed by a man on the 432 bus, which goes through Brixton, Tulse Hill and West Norwood on Thursday, September 14.
PC Charlotte Joseph said: “I would urge anyone who believes they recognise the man in the image to come forward.”
Between 7am and 8am on September 14, a woman was travelling on the 432 when a man boarded and sat beside her.
The man is alleged to have made several inappropriate comments towards the woman before touching her thigh.
PC Joseph said: “This was a really frightening and intimidating experience for the victim, which has left her nervous to travel.
“The suspect thought it was fine to harass, and grab a woman who was simply going about her day. It is absolutely not acceptable that any woman should have to deal with this type of behaviour and we are working hard to identify the man responsible.”
