Millwall Lionesses long wait for a win is still ongoing after they fell to a 3-1 defeat away at Aston Villa Ladies on Sunday.
The Lionesses have now gone nine games without picking up three points, although four of those contests did end up in a draw.
On Sunday Millwall got off to a perfect start when Grace Fisk gave them the lead after just two minutes of the contest. But by the break the Villains had turned around that deficit thanks to a brace of goals from Beth Merrick.
In the second half sub Grace Smith added a third goal for the home side, ending a six game win less streak for Villa but extending the Lionesses run of disappointing results. After the game the Lionesses Rinsola Babajide told the club website: “We definitely deserved something, it’s a game we should have won but we need to finish off our chances.”
