YOUNG goalkeeper Ethan Wady is heading to the National League South on a one-month loan deal.
Millwall have announced that the American keeper will join non-league strugglers Eastbourne Borough.
Wady arrived at the club this summer and joined Kevin Nugent’s under-21 ranks. He came to Millwall after five years with Chelsea’s development teams.
He has plenty of loan experience from his time at Stamford Bridge, playing for Tooting & Mitcham United, Dartford, Hendon and Woking.
He will now look to revive Eastbourne’s fortunes with the East Sussex-based club currently third-bottom of the division. They also have the second worst defence in the league.
They travel to relegation rivals Welling United tomorrow for a crunch game in the National League South.
Wady joins Chin Okoli, Alex Mitchell, Kyle Smith, Abdul Abdulmalik, Nana Boateng and Joe Wright as the brightest Millwall youth stars who have headed out to the EFL and non-league for experience.
