CHIN Okoli has become the latest Millwall youngster to head out on loan after he joined National League side Bromley for six months.
The centre-back signed for Millwall when he was 11 and has been part of Gary Rowett’s squad during pre-season, appearing in the friendly against Gillingham earlier this month.
Now 19, he will be looking to impress on his second temporary move to the National League.
After signing today, Okoli told Bromley’s club media: “It feels great. It’s a good environment, good facilities and I’m ready to work.
“My gaffer told me that Bromley were interested and I couldn’t turn it down. It’s a great opportunity, it’s a great club, great fans and a great gaffer.”
Last October he joined Torquay United on a 28-day loan.
He spent the rest of the season as part of Kevin Nugent’s successful Professional Development League winning squad.
Okoli is the third young Millwall player to make a loan move away from the club this week.
Forward Nana Boateng joined Woking on a six-month deal and could face Okoli next season when Woking host Bromley on October 28.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Joe Wright left for League Two Salford until January.
