SID Nelson scored his first goal in his 75th professional game as Chesterfield boosted their hopes of staying in the Football League with a 3-1 win over Notts County on Sunday.
Nelson finished a corner to the net with his chest to give the Spireites a 16th-minute lead. Zavon Hines scored a second before Kristian Dennis made sure of the win in injury-time.
Chesterfield are still in the relegation zone in League Two, two points off Grimsby but with two games in hand.
