JIMMY Abdou’s AFC Wimbledon booked their place in the draw for the third round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win over London rivals Charlton on Sunday.
Abdou came on in the 82nd minute for the Dons, who went ahead through Cody McDonald before Karlan Ahearne-Grant equalised. But two second-half goals from Lyle Taylor sent his side through.
Jamie Philpot’s Woking are also still in the hat for Monday night’s draw after they grabbed a late leveller against Peterborough, who are 50 league places above them.
Ryan Tafazolli fired the visitors ahead in the first half before Chez Isaac missed a penalty to pull his side level.
Six minutes from time, Joe Ward earned his side a replay and another chance to reach the third round for the first time in 21 years. Posh were fortunate to survive, after Ward hit the woodwork in injury-time.
James Brown’s Carlisle will also have the opportunity to knock out higher-league opponents in a replay. Brown played 90 minutes as Danny Grainger cancelled out Luke O’Neill’s opener for League One Gillingham.
Harry Smith’s Swindon are out after a 5-2 defeat at Stevenage. Smith came on in the 64th minute with his side 3-2 down, but Danny Newton scored a late brace to ensure his side’s progress.
Sid Nelson was serving the second game of a three-match ban as his Yeovil side must meet Port Vale again after a 1-1 draw at Vale Park.
