NEIL Harris has revealed the club will continue to look at trialists.
Millwall have had several trialists at the club in recent weeks, including former Watford left-back Harry Kyprianou and Bryne FK midfielder Henrik Breimyr.
The Lions boss has said the club haven’t taken up the option to sign any of the players currently on trial.
And Harris will continue to have a look at players recommended to him who are keen to impress.
“At the moment we’re not in the position where we’ve wanted to take in any of the trialists. That could change in time, it could change varying on position and age,” Harris said.
“We’re always looking at players, especially young ones to come in and show ability. We would want them to one day force their way into the U21’s team and from that, get into the first team group.”
“With so many players each year out of contract, trialists become a club’s market where you can dictate the situation. In some cases, we feel we would like to have a look at a player.
“If I want to look at a player and he wants to come in and prove himself, then I’m keen to look at him.”
Harris added: “I want them to have that hunger and back themselves and do well. You want that type of player to play for your football club.
“If you have an opportunity to bring players in and have a look at them, in some instances, it’s a no-brainer.
“As long as they come recommended and with the right attitute, we will continue to have trialists in.
