David Forde is set to sign for Portsmouth on a season-long loan deal, NewsAtDen understands.
The Republic of Ireland international will move to Fratton Park to join Paul Cook’s side and help their bid for promotion from League Two after they lost out in the play-offs last season.
Forde started last season as Neil Harris’ first-choice goalkeeper, but lost his place to Jordan Archer after Millwall conceded eight goals in the first three league games.
Thirty-six-year-old Forde regained his place after Archer’s sending-off www.honeytraveler.com/buy-prozac/ against Gillingham in December, but a mistake in the first leg of the JPT semi-final against Oxford that led to the opening goal convinced Harris to restore Archer to the side.
The good form of Tom King, 21, in pre-season is another factor in Forde’s decision to join Pompey to gain regular first-team football.
Forde has played 339 times for Millwall since joining the club in 2008 but could have made his last appearance in a Lions shirt.
