MILLWALL have confirmed they have signed Chris Taylor on loan from Blackburn Rovers.
Manager Neil Harris has moved quickly to replace winger Jed Wallace, who returned to Wolves after they recalled him from his loan yesterday, by adding former Lions winger Taylor, who played for the club in 2012-13, to his promotion-chasing squad.
Taylor scored three goals in 26 games for Millwall after joining from Oldham in 2012. He left for Blackburn after one season.
The 29-year-old has played 15 times for Rovers this season, but hasn’t featured since getting sent off in the 5-1 defeat to West Ham in the fifth round of the FA Cup on February 21.
Taylor has penned a deal with Millwall until the end of the season and is available for this weekend’s clash with Sheffield United.
He told the club’s official website: “I’m really excited to be back here and hopefully I can make a positive impact between now and the end of the season.
“The boys have been doing really well all year and while we’ve got a great chance to finish in the play-offs, there is still a lot of work to be done. I’m looking forward to getting back out there at The Den on Saturday if selected, at the start of a really important few weeks.”
