An emergency dental clinic at King’s College Hospital is no longer open to walk-ins.
From Monday, August 12, the clinic started operating by appointment only, with patients now needing to phone up on the day at 8am to find out if there are slots available the same afternoon.
The trust says the new system will mean patients “know immediately whether we can see you, you won’t have to make an unnecessary journey and you can plan your visit into your day.”
If not, the team will either recommend phoning again the next day or dialling 101 to find other emergency and urgent services elsewhere.
For urgent appointments, call the clinic from 8am on: 020 3299 5608.
