A Crystal Palace dance school is celebrating its students’ outstanding achievements.
Perfect Circle Dance Academy, located between Crystal Palace Park and Westow Park, has seen three dancers in particular excel in the last few months.
Firstly there’s Celia Watson, fifteen, who has won a place at Camden-based prestigious contemporary dance school The Place.
From an old war office, The Place puts on over 200 performances a year and is known as a training ground for to-be famous performers.
Meanwhile Milly Jupp, aged twelve, has been accepted on the highly competitive associate programme at the Central School of Ballet.
Both Milly and Celia will attend their new classes on Saturdays, while still training at Perfect Circle on weekday evenings.
Finally, Charlie Outred-Marascalchi, 10, has successfully auditioned to star in fashion brand Zara’s new dance-themed TV advert.
Founder and Principal of Perfect Circle Dance Academy, April Christie said: “I am delighted to see Celia, Milly and Charlie achieving such success.
“It is testament to their talent, hard work and the commitment of their teachers here at Perfect Circle.”
The Academy has operated in Crystal Palace since 2009, and provides classes in ballet, tap, commercial jazz and street, theatre craft, contemporary and acro dance for children aged 2 to adults.
