Police had appealed to the public to help them find an elderly woman who went missing on her way to Peckham on Monday.
Carole Ewemade, 84, left her home in Greenwich at around 08:30 a.m. on February 14 to see a friend in Peckham.
However, she did not arrive.
“We are very concerned for Carol’s welfare,” said detective sergeant Ben Cowen, from the South East area’s missing person unit.
“This is extremely out of character for Carol and understandably her family are really worried,” he had added.
However, today (Thursday, February 17) the police said: “We’re pleased to confirm that Carol has now been found.
We thank the media and public for their assistance.”
