Shoppers have been left fuming by empty shelves at a Kennington Tesco – even with Christmas approaching.
Freezers and fridges at the Tesco on Kennington Lane broke down last weekend and still haven’t been fixed, prompting an apology from a Tesco spokesperson.

Furious shopper Bobby Green said: “I think us living in Kennington deserve something better than this. Absolutely nothing in Tesco at the moment.
“No fruit, veg, milk and all the fridges are still broken… and they have the cheek to call it a superstore! Nothing super about this store and there never has been!”
Another person wrote on Facebook: “I’ve tried for two days to get an elderly gentleman his shopping!”
A Tesco spokesperson: “We’re really sorry for the unusual problems we’re having in Kennington Superstore with our chilled and frozen products.
“We appreciate that this is not helpful ahead of Christmas and are working really hard to fix the problem. We still have a wide range of non-chilled products available in store.”
