A pair of talented young dancers ranked among the top in the world at a global Irish dancing competition.
Maisie Ryan, eleven, Nancy Timon, fifteen, and Amber-Rose Murphy, nineteen, flew out to Dublin to represent Deborah Whelan Dance School at the week-long World Irish Dance Championships.
Amber-Rose, from Dulwich, and Maisie, from Rotherhithe, both came home with medals after being placed 35th and 47th respectively.
Thousands of dancers competed in the first two rounds, before the best 50 in each age group were recalled to dance again and be placed.
