MILLWALL will play Real Sociedad in a glamour friendly at The Den the weekend before the start of the 2019-20 Championship season.
The Lions face by far the most vaunted opponents in a friendly game in Neil Harris’ five summers in charge. Sociedad finished ninth in Spain’s La Liga last season, doing the double over Real Madrid: Imanol Alguacil’s side won 2-0 at the Bernabeu in January and 3-1 at Anoeta in May.
The 2019-20 league schedule is announced June 20.
