A man has been stabbed and another has sustained a head injury after reports of a fight in Borough.
Police were called to Southwark Street at around 2.27am on Sunday, November 5, after receiving reports of a fight involving numerous people.
Officers attended and discovered two men suffering from serious injuries. One had stab wounds while another had sustained a head injury.
Both were rushed to hospital. Their injuries have now been considered non-life-threatening.
Southbridge Road and Marshalsea Road were closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
There have been no arrests and a police investigation is ongoing.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to Southwark Street, SE1 at about 02:27hrs on Sunday 5 November following reports of a fight involving a number of individuals.
“Officers attended and located two males with serious injuries. One [A] suffering with stab wounds and the other [B] suffering with a head injury. They were both taken to hospital for treatment.
“Both male’s injuries have been assessed as not life threatening.
“Southbridge Road and Marshalsea Road have been closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
“No arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”
