A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a Camberwell woman last week as police appeal for information on her whereabouts.
Petra Srncova, 32, was last seen at 7.45pm on Sunday, November 28. She was reported missing by a worried colleague the following Friday, December 3.
Originally from Czech Republic, Petra is believed to have been wearing a green coat and carrying a red backpack when she went missing. Police have contacted her family in the Czech Republic, but they have also not heard from her.
A man has been arrested in connection with her disappearance and taken into custody, where he remains. There are no further details about the man at this time.
The situation is becoming increasingly concerning for police and they are asking anyone who has seen Petra or has any information to make contact immediately.
Detective Superintendent Clair Kelland, from the Central South Command Unit, which covers Southwark and Lambeth, said: “Petra’s disappearance is out of character and, of course, her family and friends are very worried.
“We are also growing increasingly concerned for Petra’s welfare and have officers working hard to try and find her.
