Police have released several images of a woman that ‘may have information that could help them with their investigation of racial abuse incident at Deptford railway station’.
At around 3pm, on Sunday, June 11, a woman and her husband were on the station platform, awaiting a train to London Bridge.
A British Transport Police (BPT) statement said: “Suddenly they heard shouting and foul language from behind them. They turned to look and were approached by a woman who shouted racial abuse at them and made threats of violence.
“The woman then began to punch and kick the female victim before attacking her husband, leaving him with injuries to his neck and face. The female victim was left with bruising to her arms and legs.”
Officers believe the woman pictured may have information that could help their investigation,
