Thirteen people from across south London have been charged after a series of drug raids – including a woman from Honor Oak.
Warrants were executed in Lambeth, Croydon and Bromley.
Megon Cargill, aged 37, from Stondon Park in Honor Oak was charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin. She appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 18, and has been bailed to appear at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, July 16.
Also charged with cocaine and heroin offences were 39-year-old Christopher Gordon from Thornton Heath’s Gillet Road and Akira Miller (27) from Orpington’s Cowden Road, who have been bailed until July, and Ripton Jones (37) from Oakdene Road in Orpington, 30-year-old Emma White from Wendell Court near Wansdworth Road and Justin Darling (41) from Clapham Common who have all been remanded in custody.
Bianca Watson (24) from Palace Road, SW2 and Tina Carter (56) from Ferndale Road in Brixton, and Kirk Reid (23) from Kimberley Road in SW9, were charged with crack cocaine offences and remanded in custody.
Forty-one-year-old Michael Pearce, from Hargwyne Street (SW9) was charged with supplying crack cocaine. He pleaded guilty at Croydon Magistrates’ Court and will be sentenced on July 16 at Inner London Crown Court.
Three more people were also charged by postal requisition – Kerrien Harris, aged 54, from Railton Road in Brixton, 41-year-old Marc Harris, of no fixed address, and Yaha Yalahow (19) of no fixed address.
Kerrien Harris and Marc Harris were charged on Wednesday, June 17, for heroin and crack offences, possession of criminal property, and possession of counterfeit currency. They appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 18 and were remanded to custody to appear at Inner London Crown Court on July 16.
Yalahow was charged by postal requisition on Monday, June 15, with crack cocaine and heroin offences and will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on June 19.
Four others were arrested for a variety of drug, theft and breach of court order offences. Two have been bailed to return to police stations in early July, one has been remanded in custody and another received a caution.
