NEIL Harris could have defenders Shaun Cummings and Shaun Hutchinson available for the League One clash with Fleetwood this weekend.
Both players featured for the U23s in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Bromley on Monday (above).
Cummings has been out since February, while Hutchinson has featured just once in competitive action for Millwall since his move from Fulham in the summer.
The Lions lost 2-0 to Bolton on Tuesday night, the ninth game in a row in all competitions they have failed to keep a clean sheet.
Harris’ side haven’t managed a clean sheet in the league since the opening-day 3-0 win over Oldham at The Den.
They have leaked 25 goals in 13 League One fixtures so far this season, more than every other team except Gillingham.
Millwall’s injury list is shortening, and Aiden O’Brien came on as a substitute against Bolton after recovering from a knee problem.
Asked whether Cummings and Hutchinson could be in contention to face Fleetwood, Harris said: “Possibly. They both got through 75 minutes or so (Monday), but they’ve both been out a long time.
“Obviously Aiden’s back in the group and that will stand him in good stead.
“Hutchinson and Cummings, it would be nice to have them fit sooner rather than later, but we have to be careful with them and only put them in when they are ready.”
