LEE Gregory and Jordan Archer could be involved this week as Millwall fight to move back into the top six in League One.
Gregory missed Saturday’s 3-1 win over Scunthorpe with a stomach problem, while Archer aggravated a quad injury he originally picked up against Leicester City in February.
The Lions travel to Shrewsbury on Tuesday night and then face Gillingham at Priestfield on Saturday.
“To be involved Tuesday night they need to be on the training pitch [Monday] morning,” Millwall boss Neil Harris said.
“Neither of them have had fitness tests yet. It’s unlikely they will be involved tomorrow night, they’re more likely for Saturday.”
Aiden O’Brien will probably continue up front alongside Steve Morison in Gregory’s absence, while Tom King will remain in goal.
Harris gave Shaun Hutchinson his first start since the 0-0 draw with Chesterfield on February 21 at the weekend.
Harris praised Hutchinson for his performance against the Iron, and explained the reasons for dropping Jake Cooper to the bench for the first time since his January loan move from Reading.
“I just felt Coops, for a game or two, looked a little bit weary,” Harris said. “He’s only young and hardly played any football before he came to us in January.
“There’s no doubt he has made a tremendous impact, he’s a brilliant young man and a really good pro for such a young age.
“He’s popular in the group and has put in some really strong performances for us and was undoubtedly one of the reasons why we had a good three months.
“I felt that he wasn’t at such high standards as he had been in the games before and maybe it was his turn to come out and freshen up.
“Shaun Hutchinson has been training extremely well the last six or seven weeks and chomping at the bit to get back into the team.
“He’s been leading well in training, he sets the tempo and the standards, himself and David Worrall. I thought it was the perfect time to give Coops a rest and put Hutch back in, and Hutch was outstanding.
“He was dominant in both boxes and gave us that extra per cent or two in that backline.”
