THERE was disappointment for Jayson Molumby on Tuesday as Ireland under-21s saw their unbeaten record go in European Championships qualification.
Molumby captained Stephen Kenny’s side in their 1-0 defeat in Iceland.
Ireland still top their group, but Iceland are only a point behind with a game in hand.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson came on as a 64th-minute substitute as the Iceland senior side defeated Andorra 2-0.
Iceland are four points of Tukey and France in Group H with just two games left.
Shane Ferguson was an unused substitute in Northern Ireland’s 3-2 friendly win in the Czech Republic.
Millwall caretaker manager Adam Barrett said: “They’ll be back in Thursday. Like any club it’s not ideal because you’re missing players from your preparation.
“They’ll be back in to train Thursday, hopefully all with a clean bill of health. Then we can get into the nitty-gritty in the back end of the week and get the preparations right [for Brentford]”
