MILLWALL attacker Aiden O’Brien is set to be out of action until after February after suffering ankle ligament damage in the 4-3 win over Leeds on Saturday.
O’Brien, who scored the opener at Elland Road, departed injured in the 63rd minute, with Shane Ferguson coming on for his first appearance since December 2.
O’Brien has been in good scoring form, his header against Leeds his fourth goal in three games.
He now faces a wait to discover how long he will be sidelined.
“Aiden has been for a scan, he won’t be involved at the weekend. We are waiting for news at the moment. Initial prognosis is not good,” Lions boss Neil Harris said.
“We don’t know a time frame at the moment but I won’t be expecting to see him feature in February.”
