A teenager was rushed to hospital on Monday afternoon (August 22) after he was stabbed in New Cross.
The young man, aged 19, is not thought to be in a life threatening condition after reports of a fight on Hatcham Park Road, a street of terraced houses just north-west of New Cross Gate station.
. No one has been arrested and police are continuing to investigate the attack.
A spokesperson for the Met said: “Police were called at about 16:45hrs on Monday, 22 August to reports of an a fight on Hatcham Park Road, SE14.
“Officers attended and found a 19-year-old man with a stab injury. He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 5038/22Aug.
