Police are urging victims to step forward after a spate of sexual assaults were allegedly carried out in a two-hour window last month.
Detectives say the incidents are believed to have occurred on roads around London Bridge and the City between 12pm and 2pm on Monday, October 16.
A suspect is already in custody but police say CCTV footage suggests there may be some victims who haven’t spoken to police.
Detective Sergeant Matthew Alexander, at the City of London Police’s Major Crime Team, said: “These incidents might have been seen as relatively minor to some of the victims or those who witnessed the incidents, but City of London Police takes all allegations of sexual offences and violence against women and girls extremely seriously.”
The incidents are alleged to have taken place on London Bridge and three roads just north of the river; Arthur Street, Cannon Street and King William Street.
DS Alexander said: “If you have been sexually assaulted, no matter how long ago it happened, we would encourage you to contact police.
“We investigate them with the utmost sensitivity and will believe you, listen and support you throughout every step of the investigation and do everything we can to bring the offender to justice.”
