Festive nursery children were decking the halls with recycled milk bottles this week as they unveiled a special Christmas igloo.
Enterprising staff and kids at Trinity Childcare in Bryan Road, Rotherhithe spent two weeks putting together the Yuletide creation, which was made with 434 milk bottles donated by parents and businesses.
Karen Fenlon, nursery assistant at Trinity, said: “The kids were brilliant, they loved making it. It got them in the Christmas spirit and taught them about recycling!
“I’d also like to thank Melissa, our childcare practitioner, and Mick Donovan at Dunns Deli, who donated so many of the bottles.”
