A man is recieving treatment for a stab injury after cops were called to a ‘fight’ in Bermondsey’s Arnold Estate this afternoon.
Cops say they were called to reports of a fight at 5pm on the estate, but could not find any victims or suspects.
But later, a man in his twenties presented at a hospital in south London because he had been stabbed.
His stab wound is described as “not life-threatening.”
Officers cordoned off the road between Abbey Street and Old Jamaica Road as they dealt with the scene.
An officer at the cordon said there had been a stabbing on the estate, but did not give any further details.
Police also did not confirm if the presence of police cars in nearby Spa Road was connected to the ‘fight’ or stabbing.
Officers said at this time there have been no arrests, and their enquiries were still continuing.
