Bolton only survived on the last day of the season in 2017-18, scoring twice in the final three minutes to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 and keep their place in the Championship.
Millwall ended their hoodoo at Bolton last season, Tom Elliott and now-Norwich winger Ben Marshall netting for a first league win at the Trotters since 1973.
Players recently went on strike due to delayed bonus and wages payments, with new Millwall signing Ben Amos one of those allegedly left out of pocket.
Parkinson has very little money to spend, picking up a number of free transfers this summer.
Prediction: Relegation
This Bolton squad just doesn’t seem to have enough about them to stay up, with no real stand-out additions to the side. There already seems to be a disconnect between management and the dressing room too, potentially causing ex-Bradford man Parkinson problems this season.
