MILLWALL are protecting an eight-game unbeaten home run when Cardiff visit The Den on Friday night.
It is set to be a ferocious battle between two of the most physical and aggressive sides in the league. The Lions will be hoping to move further towards the 50-point mark, which looks like it could ensure survival this season.
Cardiff have been in the promotion hunt all season, and will want three points to keep alive their chances of finishing in the top two.
Lucas Ball spoke to Bluebirds fan Jamie Green ahead of this Friday’s clash.

Why do you support Cardiff?
A lot of my friends in my hometown (Port Talbot) growing up were Swansea fans, but my dad was a in a large minority of Cardiff fans in the town. I remember him sneaking us out of mass one Sunday to watch a Division 3 match in the late 1990s and was hooked ever since.
What’s been your favourite season supporting Cardiff.
I loved 2007-08 because of our brilliant FA cup run (when Cardiff reached the final where they lost 1-0 to Portsmouth), but I have to go with 2012-13 when, after a lot of heartache in preceding seasons, we finally got promoted to the Premier League, albeit for one season.
How do you rate Cardiff’s January transfer business?
Overall quite decent and the gaffer himself said deadline day was the best of his career. I think Gary Madine can add some much needed firepower and I think Neil Warnock generally filled the parts of the squad where we were a little short of bodies.
How do you see the game going?
Millwall having had a mid-week game obviously gives us an advantage and the poor result to Rochdale might knock morale too. I bet Warnock has definitely factored this into his plans.
Which Cardiff players will Millwall need to be wary of on Friday?
Junior Hoilett has been causing defences all sorts of problems in the last few games and, despite being touted to leave in January, Anthony Pilkington also re-found form against Leeds. Now he’s had a chance to settle in, I fancy Gary Madine to have a good game too.
Who on the Millwall side will Cardiff be keeping a close eye on?
Most likely players like Jed Wallace who can both create and score goals.
What’s Cardiff’s likely line-up and formation?
Warnock’s mainly played a sort of 5-2-3 using wing-backs so I imagine he’ll do something similar and line up the team not too differently to who played against Leeds. I’d say:
5-2-3:
Etheridge
Traore Manga Morrison Bamba Patterson
Grujic Ralls
Ward Madine Hoilett
Finally, what’s your score prediction?
3-1 to Cardiff.
