MILLWALL have confirmed that their promising young midfielder Kris Twardek has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
Twardek, 20, has been prominent for Justin Skinner’s U21 side this season and has been in Neil Harris’ first-team squad after signing his first professional deal last season.
The Czech Republic underage international told the club’s official website: “It’s a real encouragement to see the likes of Mahlon Romeo and Ben Thompson making the breakthrough this year. Not only are you pleased for them, but it’s also an incentive for you to follow them.
“The next week or so is hopefully going to be very exciting. If we can get the job done against Bradford on Friday night it will be wonderful to be part of a Millwall squad that is going to Wembley for a Final with the chance of promotion.”
