NEIL Harris is pleased to have “leader” Shaun Williams available for selection again.
Midfielder Williams, 31, hasn’t started a league game since September as he recovered from injury, but has come on as a substitute in the last two games to add to the Lions’ options for the Christmas schedule.
Millwall will play four games in 11 days starting with Derby next Saturday.
“He got a couple of minutes last week which was nice for him and for the squad. He got 20 minutes [Saturday] which is good for him also,” manager Neil Harris said.
“It’s a leader back in the group, a calming influence and a very good footballer. Shaun is back now fit for selection and that’s a huge boost over the Christmas period.
