JEM Karacan has left Millwall after just six appearances for the club this season.
Karacan, 29, signed a deal last summer until January after Ben Thompson had left for Portsmouth on loan.
Former Bolton and Reading midfielder Karacan played just 13 minutes of league football for the Lions.
His only two starts were in League Cup fixtures against Plymouth and Fulham.
Thompson returned to Millwall last week but could go back to Portsmouth before the end of the January transfer window.
Lions boss Neil Harris told NewsAtDen last week: “I know [Karacan] has enjoyed his time here, and we’ve certainly enjoyed having him, he’s a great lad and a brilliant pro.
“The opportunity hasn’t really come for him.”
