JAMES Brown made his senior league debut on Tuesday night, starting in defence for Carlisle in their League Two clash with Coventry City.
Brown, 19, played the full game at right-back as Carlisle lost 2-0 at the Ricoh Arena to drop to 19th in the table.
Sid Nelson made his fifth appearance for Yeovil Town as they drew 2-2 at home to Morecambe. Francois Zoko and Sam Surridge put the Glovers 2-0 up before the away side came back to draw.
Yeovil are 17th in League Two.
Harry Smith came on as a 63rd-minute substitute for Swindon against Notts County and almost rescued a point for his side but saw his header tipped over the bar by goalkeeper Adam Collin.
Swindon lost 1-0 and are down to 14th in the fourth-tier standings.
In the National League on Tuesday night, Jamie Philpot was introduced in the last minute of Woking’s 2-1 win at home to Solihull Moors.
