FRED Onyedinma came on as a second-half substitute but his side Wycombe Wanderers lost 3-2 at Charlton Athletic in League One on Saturday.
The score was 1-1 when Onyedinma was introduced in the 57th minute but Lyle Taylor put Charlton 2-1 up in the 71st minute and Naby Sarr made it three ten minutes from time.
Former Lions winger Paris Cowan-Hall scored a last-minute equaliser.
The result leaves Wycombe in 18th place in the table, while Charlton are up to eighth.
AFC Wimbledon ended a run of four successive defeats by beating Gillingham 1-0 away, Tom King’s fourth clean sheet in nine games.
The Dons are 12th in League One.
Also in the third tier, Ben Thompson was substituted at half-time as Portsmouth needed an equaliser three minutes from time from Brett Pitman at home to Shrewsbury, who had led through Greg Docherty’s 74th-minute opener.
Kenny Jackett’s Pompey are still unbeaten and are second, two points off Peterborough.
In League Two, Sid Nelson was in the heart of Swindon’s defence as they survived Kyle Knoyle’s 35th-minute sending-off to win 1-0 at Morecambe through Elijah Adebayo’s goal.
The Robins are up into the play-off spots in seventh in the fourth tier.
In the National League, midfielder Harry Donovan played the first 64 minutes for Dagenham & Redbridge who won 1-0 at Barrow thanks to Elliott Romain’s last-minute goal.
