TOM Elliott picked up a dead leg against Ipswich last Saturday – but should be fit for the weekend’s trip to Brentford.
Elliott was substituted in the 57th minute of the 3-0 win over the Tractor Boys, with Steve Morison coming on for him for the fifth successive game.
The Lions head to their west London rivals after three wins in their last four games. Brentford haven’t won in eight Championship fixtures, and Griffin Park will host a sold-out Millwall allocation of 1,660.
Elliott is expected to be in contention to feature.
“That was just a dead leg,” Lions boss Neil Harris confirmed. “It was a tight call between Tom and Steve, not just because of Steve’s impact when he came off the bench the last couple of games and Tom’s upturn in form for us. With the big men, with Tom and Steve, you think about three starts in a week. We were confident we’d get the hour out of Tom, and we almost did.
“We got to that 50-, 60-minute mark with him and we were a bit nervous with hamstrings, calves, and we were looking at Lee Gregory as well.
“With the sprinters and the attack-minded players you have to be really careful.”
