A free annual community festival in Rotherhithe will take place this weekend.
The Rotherhithe Festival will begin at 12noon on Saturday, July 13, at King George’s Fields.
It features music acts, free children’s rides and food stalls. The festival is organised by a committee of local volunteers.
Among the local acts which are due to play are ‘Catfish’, ‘Mojo Preachers’ and Chris Corcoran. The festival lasts until 8.00pm. The schedule is as follows:
12pm – Mayor of Southwark opens festival
1pm BILL n Rickey
2pm Mojo Preachers
3pm Chris Corcoran
4pm Robon BiBi
5pm The Blues Puppies
6pm Catfish
7pm Soul Intention featuring Paul Cox.
