Police investigating a Forest Hill burglary, in which “highly sentimental” jewellery worth £2,000 was stolen, have released images of the missing items.
On Saturday, November 12, between 11.30am and 6.25pm, while residents were out, numerous possessions were taken from a Manor Mount address.
Sergeant Sammie Lester of the Met’s South East Command said: “The effects of becoming a victim of burglary should not be underestimated; they can be devastating and run far deeper than a loss of property.
Police re-appeal as distraction burglars continue to target residents
“Much of the jewellery stolen is of highly sentimental value to the victim as it belonged to her mother who died recently. I urge anyone who is offered any of the pictured items for sale, or anyone with information about this offence, to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 6103/12NOV22.
