Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after an intruder broke down a woman’s front door in Forest Hill and she was left ‘terrified her in her living room’.
Officers were called to Hurstbourne Road, Perry Hill, at 4.30pm on Wednesday, December 14, last year.
They heard how a man had burst into the house, leaving the occupant “incredibly frightened by the ordeal”.
Thankfully, the woman was not injured and no property was taken.
Detectives have now released images, captured on the video doorbell, of an individual they need to identify and speak with.
Detective Constable Gerald Baffoe-Bonnie said: “This was a frightening experience for a young woman, who should have been safe in her home.

“We have carried out extensive enquiries to try and identify this man, but we need your help. Do you recognise him? Did you see him in the area that afternoon?
“Burglary is a particularly invasive crime, and the effects are long lasting and can run far deeper than a loss of property. We are determined to tackle these offences head on.”
