A DJ and NHS worker is running 45 kilometres in five days to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and Count Down Men’s Health – a charity helping men from the Sierra Leonean community.
Abdul Wahab Seisay says since starting a new exercise programme in August last year he has been ‘overwhelmed’ by the improvements to his mental and physical health and wellbeing and wants to encourage more people to get active.
He will be completing the challenge from Tuesday, November 24, to Saturday, November 28, and aims to raise £450 – and encourage all men to take up regular exercise.
“I am excited and looking forward to making a difference in the lives of many men who are hesitant to come forward to discuss their health concerns,” he said.
