At this early stage, police believe there was an altercation between two groups of men inside the station, where the men were injured, before making their way out onto the street.
The Met Police also attended along with paramedics, and both men were rushed to hospital, where they are being treated for stab wounds.
“This was a shocking act of violence and we are working hard to establish the full circumstances behind what happened,” said Detective Chief Inspector Sam Blackburn of the British Transport Police.
“While the investigation is still at an early stage, at this time we believe there was an altercation between two groups of men inside the Underground station and it is here the victims sustained their injuries before making their way onto the street.”
