KRIS Twardek has joined National League Braintree Town on a 28-day loan deal.
The 19-year-old winger will be available for manager Hakan Hayrettin’s side for their league fixture with Chester this weekend.
Twardek made his full Millwall debut against West Brom U23s in the EFL Trophy this season and went on to play against Luton and Wycombe in the competition.
Twardek told NewsAtDen last month he was eager to test himself in regular senior football. “Given the right opportunity and everything being permitted by the club I’d definitely be interested… I don’t think you can really understand what it’s like until you go out and experience it.”
Braintree have struggled since losing in the National League play-offs to Grimsby last May and are currently in 18th place in the table.
Twardek is the third Millwall player to leave the club on loan in January, after Gregg Wylde joined Northampton and Sid Nelson left for Newport County.
