JED Wallace believes Lee Gregory would be playing in the Premier League – if he took more of his chances.
Gregory scored his seventh goal of the season in the 1-1 draw against Cardiff on Friday night.
Millwall striker Steve Morison was awarded the man of the match, and Wallace praised both front men.
“He’s clinical,” Wallace said of Gregory. “When the ball comes into him and it’s a snap-shot he’s a really good finisher.
“It’s always the same argument with him, is he a top finisher? To be honest, if he finished every chance he’d be playing with a top-10 club in the Premier League because his all-round game is that good.
“We’re very lucky to have someone like that here. And with Moro, when they play well, you ask any manager in this division, we’re very, very hard to play against.
“I’ve always said you can do 50 passes around the back but if someone sticks the ball to the back post to Steve Morison, it’s undefendable. He’s showed that.
“Him and Greggors the last six months have been the difference for us, really. When they are playing well Millwall win football matches and we’ve seen that the last few weeks.”
