MILLWALL youngster Jamie Philpot has had succesful surgery on a torn meniscus.
The striker suffered the knee injury in the 4-2 defeat to Wolves at Molineux on the final day of the season.
Philpott scored with his first touch against Kenny Jackett’s side but his debut was cut-short after only eight minutes by injury.
A meniscectomy is the surgical removal of all or part of a torn meniscus, or cartilage.
And Philpot has said, via his Twitter page, that the procedure went well.
Surgery went well ?? Gotta wait a bit longer before I get discharged but at least I get to watch the play off game ?? pic.twitter.com/tq7SpjuGyD
